We are pleased to announce that two Special Issues of DETRITUS - Multidisciplinary Journal for Circular Economy and Sustainable Management of Residues, will be compiled, based on selected papers from Sardinia Symposium.

– Potential health effects of different waste management technologies

– Case studies
2. PLASTIC, BIOPLASTICS AND NEW MATERIALS FROM WASTE
Although the deadline for abstract submission to the conference has already officially expired, abstracts on the above-mentioned subjects will still be reviewed for possible inclusion in the conference programme and publication in the special issues of the journal.

Detritus is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal which publishes papers on waste resources, residue management and engineering. The journal is aimed at extending the “waste” concept by opening up the field to other waste-related disciplines (earth science, applied microbiology, environmental science, architecture, art, law, forensic engineering, etc.) welcoming strategic, review and opinion papers. Accepted papers will be immediately processed and made available on line with a DOI number.
