About Sardinia Symposia

The Sardinia Symposia are a prestigious biennial event organised by the International Waste Working Group (IWWG), with the scientific involvement of the Universities of Padova (IT), BOKU (AT), Tongji (CN) and the Technical Universities of Luleå (SE) and Hamburg (DE).
Since their foundation in 1987, the Symposia have become one of the world's leading conferences on solid waste management, regularly bringing together over 600 participants from across the globe and featuring more than 400 scientific presentations in each edition.
