The primary goal of those sessions is to create a balance between scientific and industry contributions, in order to foster exchanges between practitioners and researchers, promote novel solutions to today’s challenges in the area of Waste Management, and provide practitioners in the field an early opportunity to evaluate leading-edge research and present their own products and services.
Each session will be allotted 90 minutes and will include a selected number of oral presentations followed by ample time for discussion and opportunities for networking.
Companies sessions broaden the range of commercial opportunities available during the symposium, which includes exhibition areas, rooms available for private or open meetings, networking lunches/breakfast on spectacular seafront terraces, and numerous sponsorship packages.
HOW TO APPLY
Themes of particular interest include but are not limited to those identified in the main conference topics. Submissions may describe technologies, methodologies, applications, prototypes or experiences of clear relevance.
Submissions, in the form of 1-2 page abstracts, should be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Abstracts should describe the content of the talk, which should be of a technical or strategic nature (i.e. purely marketing/promotional material will not be accepted). As regular abstracts, proposals for companies forums will undergo a thorough selection process.
Acceptance will be based primarily on the novelty and applicability of the insights proposed.
