LIFE programme workshop

Funding opportunities & Innovative waste management solutions

The LIFE programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action.

Since 1992, LIFE has co-financed some 4500 projects aiming to preserve Europe’s nature and biodiversity, reduce the environmental impact of several human activities and fight climate change. In the area of waste and the circular economy the progamme has co-funded over 700 projects.

We are pleased to announce that LIFE will organise a workshop entitled “LIFE programme: funding opportunities & innovative waste management solutions”. The workshop will take place in the afternoon of October 2th from 3:30 pm.

This workshop aims at showcasing and disseminating a selection of the latest and most replicable solutions developed by LIFE in the field of waste management. Additionally, the event will include presentations on the programme’s topics in the waste sector for the following years as well a slot on LIFE funding opportunities and future call for projects.

This technical event is of interest to:
- Investors and stakeholders in the waste sector in search of innovative and marketable waste management solutions;
- Potential applicants to the LIFE call for projects.
